The Elmhurst Inn - Bar Harbor

Absolutely fabulous room on lower floors and peaceful and excellent location. A really lovely stay for the holidays.

We were offered an excellent service. Stayed in a nice size and fabulous room with special milk for coffee. The location was fantastic and good, short walk to Main Street shops, restaurants, excursions and a grocery store and downtown and Side Street Cafe🙂👌

After a day of discovering nearby landmarks like the charming Abbe Museum and enjoying a lovely stroll through the lush Village Green, I loved unwinding in the spacious Cadillac room, complete with a relaxing soaking tub.

The Beautiful King Room was cozy with a private bathroom. Breakfast was fantastic, with sweet or savory options each day, like crepes and blueberry pie. The staff, especially Cheryl, was so helpful, giving great tips for local outings. The location was perfect, just a short walk to downtown Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.

Charming historical atmosphere near a grocery store. Breakfast options varied daily and tasted great. The shared bathroom was inconvenient for late-night trips.

The room was cozy and immaculate, and the breakfasts-especially the homemade quiche-were a delicious start to our days. I loved the personal touch from the host, were very good to make our wedding celebration special.

With two bedrooms and a cozy living room, it seemed like our own little getaway. The kids had a blast exploring nearby hiking trails, and the three-course breakfasts were delicious and perfectly set us up for a day of adventures.

My kids wished there were more activities on-site for them to enjoy.

great stay but minor noise issue

The staff provided personalized recommendations that enhanced our experience in the area. The room was spacious, clean, and was pretty good with its comfortable furnishings.

There was a slight noise disturbance from outside.

The downstairs cottage featured a well-designed layout with two comfortable bedrooms. The decor was inviting, and everything was impeccably clean. Mornings started wonderfully with a good three-course breakfast, including delicious bread toasts. Within walking distance to downtown, we parked for free and easily explored the area, though the nearby street noise could be a bit bothersome at times.

Totally recommend for a weekend getaway

Cozy room, friendly staff, everything super clean clean, and I loved the delicious breakfast with fresh fruit and coffee, making it a perfect stay just 12 miles from the local airport.
